Graduated from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1979. He began his Family Practice and Emergency Medicine career in 1980. During his time in Emergency Rooms he realized there was a gap between the ER and Primary Care and decided to open Immediate Medical Care. With now 3 locations Immediate Medical Care offers an option for patients when they clearly don’t have a medical emergency, but are unable to see their family doctor right away.
Bachelor's in Science from Friend's University and Medical Degree from KU Medical School. Residency with KU Family Medicine at Via Christi and Fellowship with KU Sports Medicine at Via Christi. Board certified in Family Medicine with added qualifications in Sports Medicine.
Terry Stryker Merrifield, MD, is a Board Certified Family Physician with 40 years of experience in Wichita providing patient care in office, hospital, and urgent care settings. She graduated from Georgetown Medical School in 1975, and from the Wesley Family Medicine Residency in 1978. She has been with IMC since 2014.
Paula Worley is a Board Certified Family Physician who graduated McPherson College in 1990 with a degree in Biology and Spanish. Her medical degree is from The University of Kansas School of Medicine and she completed residency with the Via Christi Family Medicine Residency program in Wichita. She served in community health in Wichita for 10 years before coming to Immediate Medical Care. She finds joy in being available to patients in times of need. She is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group-USA.
Michael Clouse is a Physician Assistant who joined IMC in 2014. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas in 2002. His formal Physician Assistant training was completed at Wichita State University in 2005. Since graduation, he has worked in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and now Urgent Care. He values faith and family, loves being a husband to his wife Kari and cherishes being a dad to his 4 sons. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, fishing, singing in his church's praise band, supporting KU athletics, and playing/coaching his sons in soccer. He loves caring for people and has special interests in helping people overcome smoking and weight loss issues.
Jennifer E. Edison, PA-C is a 1992 Graduate of the College of Health Professions at Wichita State University in the Physician Assistant Program. She has been a practicing PA in the Wichita area for the last 25 years. She graduated with Special honors in Family Medicine and spent 4 years in Nephrology and 15 years in Underserved care. She has been at Immediate Medical Care since 11/2012. Jennifer grew up in Southeast Kansas, is married with 4 grown children and starting to add up the grandchildren. She truly enjoys serving her patients in all of their Urgent Health Care needs.
Ruth Green is a board certified Physician Assistant with 20 years of experience. She has been a provider at IMC since 2012. Her background includes the Army Nurse Corps where she served 7 years prior to attending the University of North Dakota's P.A. program. She has also worked in family practice clinics in underserved areas of Kansas for 15 years
Dianna L. Wright, PA-C attended PA school at Wichita State University, class of 2005, and has been a practicing PA for approx. 12 years. She has worked in family practice, urgent care, and occupational medicine with DOT, FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, OK
Received Bachelor's in Science of Nursing from Wichita State University. Worked in the Intensive Care Unit and Operating Room as a Registered Nurse. Received Master's in Science of Nurse with focus in Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. Has certification in Family Nurse Practice from American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Lindsay Stewart is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 12 years of healthcare experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Kansas School of Nursing in 2009. She then attended Wichita State University and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing in 2013. She has worked in Emergency Medicine and has been with Immediate Medical Care since 2016.
